Prague stock exchange "previous close" almost all 0,0

Why do almost all Prague stock exchange stocks have a "previous close" of 0,0 ?

Dear untje,

Thank you for your forum post!

You're correct. It appears only 17 of the 68 stocks on the Prague stock exchange have a nonzero Previous Close.

This could be because most of them are foreign stocks, and are trading in a currency different from the one in which their Fundamental Data is given.

For discrepancies between the Currency Codes of the Price Data and Fundamental Data, the stock's Previous Close is marked Zero; so as to prevent it from being accidentally cleared on GrahamValue's screeners.

This is covered in the Quick Reference and the Video Tutorials in it, specifically in the section on Foreign Stocks and Currencies.

Ok, but do you plan to fix this?

Dear untje,

Thank you for your comment!

The marking of the Previous Close to Zero for discrepancies in Currency Codes is by design.

Unless a stock presents its Price Data and Fundamental Data in the same Currency Code, GrahamValue cannot give a comparison of the two as of now.

It may be possible to do an automatic currency conversion for the Fundamental Data to be able to compare it against the price, but that would require integration with an external API and there are no such plans for GrahamValue as of now.

Such stocks usually tend to be in a minority. The Prague stock exchange appears to be an exceptional case, where most of its listings are foreign stocks with conflicting Currency Codes.
