Data reliability

I have checked a few stocks and encountered some situations where the numbers did not seem to add up, especially the earning growth portion or the NCAV %.

I have not kept track of all them, but now I just noticed one and thought I would share here.

Stock is Daihatsu Diesel 6023.T:

Graham Ratings -> Earning Growth: 152.71%

If we go to look to the EPS values though:

Earnings Per Share (EPS):
59.63
EPS - TTM:
62.79
EPS - 2 Years Ago:
52.40
EPS - 3 Years Ago:
66.99
EPS - 4 Years Ago:
72.88
EPS - 5 Years Ago:
113.41
EPS - 6 Years Ago:
93.16
EPS - 7 Years Ago:
89.21
EPS - 8 Years Ago:
64.27
EPS - 9 Years Ago:
74.30
EPS - 10 Years Ago:
114.77
EPS - 11 Years Ago:
102.25
EPS - 12 Years Ago:
143.86

I think I see a decrease in EPS, not an increase. This is not the first situation that I encounter with some of the ratio and I wanted to first check what is the reason. This does not appear as coming from the data source, rather from the screener.

Dear rc2752,

Thank you for your forum post!

You're correct. This particular error is a calculation issue and not a data issue.

A bug in a recent business logic update was causing an error in the Earnings Growth calculation for certain types of stocks.

This will be fixed immediately. Please check back in a couple of hours.
