Web format and quality

Can you invest some more time in your website? The stock list window is too small and there's entirely too much white space on the side margins that is unused. This would save from having to scroll left to right to view all the graham criteria's. Also, when you click on a non-standard graham criteria and you refresh the filter the additional options that you selected disappear. Then you have to reclick them to turn them on again and everytime you refresh the filter. That is something that you would expect from software from the 1980's. In addition, your export feature should export your entire the entire list and not just the 5 or even 100 rows that make up the viewable window. If you don't want to change the website format, then this would be the bare minimum. There's far too many 0's on the graham critieria as well. Perhaps instead of a 0 you can refer to the last previous result from the day prior? Just throwing out some ideas.

Other than that I love the website. I think you're doing great work. Keep it up!

Thanks so much!

Dear rcugliet,

Thank you for your kind words and the detailed feedback!

Please see responses and clarifications below.

The stock list window is too small and there's entirely too much white space on the side margins that is unused. This would save from having to scroll left to right to view all the graham criteria's.

GrahamValue has been using Bootstrap, a standard UI framework, for close to a decade now. Bootstrap is a responsive framework, and automatically adjusts to fit multiple screen widths.

Can you please clarify which screen size you're using? If it's a wide screen, you can simply use your browser's zoom option to fit the page to fill the entire screen.

Also, when you click on a non-standard graham criteria and you refresh the filter the additional options that you selected disappear. Then you have to reclick them to turn them on again and everytime you refresh the filter.

GrahamValue has had the option to save and reload filters since 2011.

GrahamValue does not use AJAX for filtering and pagination on the screeners, specifically to allow saving of filters and deep-linking to customized searches.

The filters are essentially included in the URLs and so can always be reloaded, simply by copying and pasting the screener link for specific searches.

In addition, your export feature should export your entire the entire list and not just the 5 or even 100 rows that make up the viewable window.

The current View and Export limit of 100 Rows on the Advanced Graham Screener is by design. The Advanced Graham Screener does extensive database querying on every request. The limits are therefore set to manage the database load on the server, as well as the display load on the browser.

Also, please note that the Excel Export is simply a client-side script that copies the contents of the displayed page to a file. There is no data sent from the server for the export. This is the reason the export is instantaneous.

There's far too many 0's on the graham critieria as well. Perhaps instead of a 0 you can refer to the last previous result from the day prior?

Can you please explain this a little further?

Thank you again for your forum post!
